Well not been here in a while not had much to put down ,I have been busy doing my Fathers webpage as anyone who comes on my Blog my Father passed away and I know he wanted to make a webpage about his life on the great iron horses The Steam trains.
I know he loved them and well so do I because I was lucky to ride on the footplate on some Trains my Father drove, so I guess it all stems from that .I only wish I could find more info on the sheds that he used to report to as they were knocked down some years ago and I cant find a single picture of him on anything to do with His days on the Railway .I cant find anyone who is a mate of my Father as well the years have been and gone so i guess most of his mates would have passed away .
if only i could find some information about the sheds he worked at but i have looked and found nothing apart from one picture that had been uploaded and the guy has nothing else from his days in the railway either.
Any suggestions of how i can go about finding info on my Fathers time on the Railway would be very grateful for anything .

if anyone has any poems they would like me to add to my Rhymes of Rail I would love to add them including who wrote them.
of course they would have to have something to do with the Railways old or new . just give me a email and ill add them .
